Meet Dr. Katlyn Barkey (Centennial, CO)

Katlyn Barkey, O.D. received her Doctor of Optometry from Pacific University, Forest Grove in 2021. She completed her undergraduate studies at Washington State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2017.

Dr. Barkey specializes in ocular disease management, myopia control, and primary eye care, including multi-focal contact lens fittings. Having a family history of macular degeneration, Dr. Barkey wanted to be able to explain and prevent progression to the best of my ability. To achieve this, Dr. Barkey pursued a career in optometry where she could help improve her patients' quality of life by means of clearer or more comfortable vision.

Dr. Barkey loves getting the chance to educate her patients about the different health conditions that can affect the eyes. Helping someone see better and be able to enjoy their hobbies more brightens her days.
